Chain
Chain does not collect any data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers of ours.
Your habits, check-ins and notes are stored on your iPhone, in a container shared only with Chain's own widgets. Reminders are local notifications that never leave the phone.
Apple Health. If you link a habit to Apple Health, Chain reads today's steps, exercise minutes, mindful minutes or workouts on your device to tick that habit off. Chain never writes to Health, never sends Health data anywhere, and never uses it for advertising or anything else.
iCloud backup. If you turn on iCloud backup (off by default), a copy of your Chain data is stored in your own iCloud account through Apple's key-value storage, so a new iPhone can restore it. We cannot see it.
Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
