Higher or lower: crates and AI prices
Two real numbers, one tap. Which Rust crate gets more real downloads a day? Which AI model is cheaper for the job? Keep the streak going. Keys: 1 or ← for the left card, 2 or → for the right.
Which crate gets more real downloads a day?
Real downloads = the median on days with no release.
The game needs JavaScript. The numbers are all on the crate pages and the AI price pages.
Where the numbers come from
Crates: the 300 most-downloaded crates on crates.io, scored by real downloads: the median daily downloads on days with no release that day or the day before, from 90 days of crates.io data. Why raw counts mislead.
AI prices: 71 models from the official pricing pages of Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and DeepSeek, checked Oct 23, 2026. Each job uses fixed token counts and the cheapest way the provider bills it (cache or batch where listed), only for models that fit the job. Every job ranked.
The daily 10 is the same for everyone on the same date. How we collect every dataset.
