Non-consumable (one-time unlock)
Short answerA non-consumable in-app purchase is bought once and kept forever, across the user's devices: a Pro unlock, an ad remover, a level pack. It must be restorable.
Why it matters
It is the simplest way to sell an app without a subscription, and the one users trust most, but it pays once.
Our number
Our apps used a one-time Pro unlock, around $4.99, before adding subscriptions in October 2026. All 11 apps rejected under 4.3 shipped that paywall in their first build; none of the 8 approved apps did.
