App Store Small Business Program
Short answerDevelopers who earned up to $1 million in App Store proceeds in the previous calendar year can enroll to pay a 15% commission instead of 30% on paid apps and in-app purchases.
Why it matters
It halves Apple's cut for almost every indie developer, but you have to enroll; it is not automatic.
