Company Watch · $99/month · up to 10 companies
Know the day a company you follow wins a federal contract, files with the SEC or reports lobbying.
Short answerGive us up to 10 companies. Every day we check four public sources for each one: federal contract and grant actions on USAspending, SEC filings on EDGAR (with what each 8-K is about), and lobbying reports in the Senate LDA database. When something new shows up you get one email that day, with every item linked to the original government record, plus a summary every Monday.
The filings are free. Checking three government sites for ten companies every morning is not: it is about an hour a day, and the one record that matters is the one you skipped. Company Watch does the checking and tells you only what changed.
Try it on one company first, free: you see exactly what the reports are built from.

What a report looks like

What we watch, and how often
Federal contracts and grants
New awards, modifications and amendments from USAspending.gov (FPDS contracts, FABS grants), with agency, amount and description. Zero-dollar admin changes are folded into one line.
SEC filings
Every new EDGAR filing. 8-Ks are labelled by item: new material agreement, executive change, restructuring, cybersecurity incident, restatement. Insider Forms 4 and 144 are grouped.
Lobbying
Quarterly LD-2 reports and new registrations in the Senate LDA database: who lobbied for the company, how much, and on which issues.
Schedule
Every company re-checked at least every 20 hours. Daily digest after 8 AM ET when anything is new. Weekly summary on Mondays, even when nothing changed, so you know it ran.
Limits, stated up front
- Defense Department contracts arrive late. DoD publishes its contract actions to USAspending about 90 days after signing. We catch them the day they are published, not the day they are signed.
- Names are matched as filed. A company can contract or lobby under another name (Alphabet lobbies as Google). Your account page lets you add up to three names per company.
- Federal only. No state contracts, state lobbying or court records yet. Need them? Ask for a custom watchlist below.
- Records, not opinions. Reports list what was filed and link to it. We do not add claims about what a record means.
More than 10 companies, or a different schedule?
Custom watchlists for larger lists (a portfolio, a competitor set, every vendor of one agency), other cadences, or a CSV feed. Tell us what you need; we reply within one business day with a price and a sample report built from your list.
Questions
Is this data free elsewhere? Yes, every record is public and every item links to it. You are paying for the daily checking, the change detection and the one email, not for the records.
Which companies can I watch? Any U.S. public company (we resolve tickers and CIKs through SEC EDGAR) and any private company that contracts with or lobbies the federal government, by name.
Can I change my list? Anytime, from your account page. New companies get a snapshot of their latest records right away; after that you only hear about what is new.
How do I cancel? One button on your account page. Reports continue to the end of the month you paid for.
Developers: the same sources answer one-off questions through our Under Oath API; the free API tools stay free and our datasets stay CC BY 4.0.
