Free game · Halloween event live until Nov 1

Same seller. Three opening moves. One of them saves you $40.

These are real recordings from O'BLOCK, our free sneaker-flipping game on Steam. Same seller, same 5 pairs, same start every time; the only thing that changes is what you offer. Pick your move before you watch.

Your turn: 120 more buyers and sellers, all lying a little.

O'BLOCK is free on Steam. You start with $300 and a shoebox; every deal works like this one. The Halloween event runs Oct 24 to Nov 1: every buyer and seller is in costume. 4,566 people have claimed it so far.

Why the middle move wins

Every seller in O'BLOCK has a hidden number. From the game's deal code:

  • Offer above his number and he takes it at once. He won't argue with money, so paying the ask (or all you have) never gets you a discount.
  • Get close and he may name a price between. Within 12% of his number, there's a 55% chance he names a price about a third of the way from his number toward yours. That's the $260.
  • Every offer that doesn't close costs patience. Hold a lowball and he walks. Different sellers have different patience, and some lie about how warm you are.

So the play is: open low to read him, move toward the street price, and take the number he names. More about O'BLOCK · its Steam launch numbers.
