Investigations · from $9
Making a decision about a company, supplier or partner? Get it investigated, with sources, before you sign.
Ask one question. Get back what the public record says: filings, contracts and grants, lobbying, political money, recalls and courts, each finding linked to its source, plus CSVs.
Proof: the same methods behind Flock Safety's federal money, Alphabet's $147B in outside money and a Congressional candidate's $17M in loans.
Quick $29 (2 days) · Standard $79 (4 days) · Deep $199 (7 days, human-reviewed).
Guarantee: you get at least the sourced findings your tier promises on your question; if any are missing, we keep digging at no cost until you have them.
See options and start →Short answerTell us the target and what you need to know. An investigator pulls the primary records (SEC EDGAR, USAspending contracts and grants, SAM.gov, FEC, Senate lobbying filings, court dockets, FDA, CPSC and NHTSA recalls, EPA and OSHA, archived price pages and our own datasets) and writes a report where every finding links to its record. Quick reports land in 2 days, standard in 4, deep in 7.

Good questions to send
- "Can this supplier actually deliver? Who else buys from them, and have they been sued or recalled?"
- "Who does this company lobby, which politicians do its staff fund, and what federal money does it get?"
- "This startup says it has a $40M Army contract. Does it?"
- "How has this vendor's pricing moved over three years?"
Limits
- Public records only. Private companies with no federal footprint leave thinner trails; we tell you what we could and could not find.
- Investigations about a private person are only accepted with a clear business reason, and are always reviewed by a person before release.
- Federal records first. State filings and courts are included where they have public search.
